The past few years have seen various methods and processes introduced aimed at personalising the mobile phone. Mobile sales continue to grow beyond expectations, and yet no recognised and affordable method is available to personalise these very personal items. The recent introduction and growth of personalised “ring tones” and “wallpapers", confirms the demand for individuality.
However, with the constant model changes and increasing range available the life span of pre-printed covers has all but disappeared. This combined with the new generation phones being smaller, incorporating colour screens and cameras, the area, which can be personalised is dramatically reduced, and in most cases the new covers are no longer interchangeable!
TheMagicTouch introduce a new and exciting way in which to serve this market. Introducing a newly developed “high tack” adhesive vinyl compatible with most laser toner based printers and copiers allows personalised mobile phone stickers to be produced cost effectively.
The process is simple and easy, the customer identifies their particular phone model, the template is imported, images aligned and printed. The individual profiles are then cut using the MagiCut process. The client then has a sheet of personalised stickers, which can be easily removed or changed with no damage or warranty infringement with the manufacturer or supplier.
Having market tested the “phone sticker” concept TheMagicTouch have been very encouraged at the initial responses to their latest application. This unique process enables licensed images, club logos, and designs to be made available for all models of phone with a low stock value. The idea has great potential to be used as a “freebie” especially in the promotions market.
TheMagicTouch will continue to increase the number of phone templates available on the website to enable clients to simply download the template of the required phone cover into their computer and personalise using MagiCut software.
The application and demand for full colour stickers either for phones, vehicle graphics, or general use has dramatically grown over the past year as the copiers and printers are more compatible with substrates other than just plain paper. The new Vinyl is available in A4 and A3 formats.
The new “vinyl” was very well received during the World Cup 2006 football competition where the growth and acceptance of the “car sticker” was re-kindled. The only difference is now that the car stickers can be done in full colour and the minimum order is one!
Applying the Coverseal also ensures the durability of the stickers against UV, scratching, or indeed fading.
