MagiCut 5FD Design Software
As part of on-going MagiCut developments we announce the launch of MagiCut 5FD design software, as a single USB flash drive key. Available with immediate effect, replacing the MagiCut 4.0 version. The MagiCut 5FD version is compatible with the new CE5000 series plotters from Graphtec and will work via the USB 2.0 interface as well as the serial port.
Each copy of MagiCut 5FD must be registered to activate warranty and support. To register simply insert the flash drive key into a USB port of the PC (Windows 2000 or XP), double click the “launch file” and opt for registration, complete as appropriate. Forward registration by email or print/post/fax to us here in the UK.
MagiCut Lite FD for CraftRobo continues to be available. Please note that Alan Norman remains available should you require any further training or support issues relating to MagiCut software or associated products.
This year has seen a dramatic increase in customers here in the UK using the “Print & Cut” process for the production of personalised stickers for Mobile phones, i-Pods, MP3 and Games console “skins” using the CL Media SPF label stock.
This market is un-tapped and has massive potential.
The intention in the New Year is to add a full graphics and template facility to the MagiCut 5FD to enable the creation of all transfer applications designs directly using MagiCut software. For all new clients this would be very attractive proposition as they would no longer need to initially invest in Corel Draw or similar software.
Full colour image transfers are possible using OBM 5.2 transfer paper from
TheMagicTouch. Using the plotter in conjunction with the MagiCut software,
the images can be precisely cut, weeded and pressed. Please note that when
pressing with OBM 5.2, use TheMagicTouch SoftPad on all garment applications.
